Service Description
Learn how to imprint beautiful Plant designs from Nature and create a background in rich color on silk and wool ! Ecoprinting (also known as botanical printing) involves collecting leaves, plants and flowers to imprint their images directly upon protein fibers using the process you learn in the workshop. In this workshop, students will learn techniques to enhance the natural designs to create richly colored backgrounds on their silk and wool. At the end of the day, students will take home both a silk and wool scarf sample ecoprinted in color and the knowledge to continue Ecoprinting from Nature's resources. Ecoprinting is a natural, sustainable art form. Class is Beginner friendly! * Bring I gallon water jug to use as a weight.(can be empty and fill at class) Registration Fee and Materials Cost included. Materials Fee includes: •Covers all equipment (turkey roasters, dowels,twine, baskets, scissors, paper dowels, latex gloves, plastic) mordants, dyes, 1 pure silk scarf and 1 merino wool scarf, use of 2 dye blankets, sheet of instructions. *This is an all day class and will have a break for lunch

Cancellation Policy
Each Workshop has a minimum and maximum number of students. If minimum is not reached two weeks before the scheduled event, the class is subject to cancellation. Once maximum is reached, the class will be closed and a waiting list will be generated. Further instructions for the workshop will be emailed to each student prior to the class. Workshop Refund Policy – no refunds within 5 days of event- except in cases of total event cancellation. 50% refund 15+ days prior to the event.
